Halo Mobile Terms of Service

Terms governing access to and use of the Halo Mobile website

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Halo Mobile website operated by Halo Com Sdn Bhd (201901019640), trading as Halo Mobile (“Halo Mobile”, “we”, “our” or “us”). By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

The website provides product and service information, store details, membership information, trade-in estimates and enquiry channels. It does not process online purchases or payments.

1 Use of the Website

You may use the website only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You must comply with all applicable laws and must not interfere with the website, its security or its operation.

You must not upload or transmit malicious code; attempt to gain unauthorised access; scrape, crawl or extract website content through unauthorised automated means; impersonate another person; submit false or misleading information; or use the website in a manner that may harm Halo Mobile, its employees, customers or other users.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the website where reasonably necessary for security, technical, legal or operational reasons.

2 Website Information

We aim to keep the information on the website accurate and current. However, product specifications, images, prices, promotions, service details and branch information may change and may occasionally contain errors or omissions.

Images are for illustration purposes. Actual products, colours, packaging and features may differ. Information on the website does not constitute a binding offer and does not guarantee that a product or service is available at a particular Halo Mobile branch.

3 No Online Sales or Payments

The Halo Mobile website is informational and enquiry-based. Products cannot be purchased, paid for or delivered through the website. Any purchase, payment, financing application, trade-in, repair or warranty arrangement must be completed separately at a participating Halo Mobile branch or through an authorised third-party provider, subject to the applicable terms and verification requirements.

A website enquiry, WhatsApp message, saved item or expression of interest does not create a sales contract, reserve stock, confirm financing approval or guarantee a quoted price.

4 Products Prices and Availability

Products, services, prices, promotions, instalment options and availability may vary between branches and may change without prior notice. The final price, availability and applicable conditions will be confirmed by the relevant Halo Mobile branch before you proceed.

Purchases made at a physical branch are subject to the sales, warranty, return, exchange and service terms communicated at that branch or supplied with the relevant product or service.

5 Trade In Estimates

Any value generated by the Trade-In Calculator is an initial estimate only. The final trade-in value will be determined after a physical inspection and verification of the phone at a Halo Mobile branch.

The final value may differ based on the phone model, storage capacity, physical condition, functionality, account or activation status, authenticity, accessories and other assessment criteria. Halo Mobile may decline a trade-in where the phone does not meet the applicable requirements.

6 Instalment and Financing Information

Information about instalment, buy-now-pay-later or financing options is provided for general reference only. Eligibility, documents, approval, repayment periods, fees and other conditions are determined by the relevant provider and may change without notice.

Selecting an instalment enquiry option allows you to request assistance from a Halo Mobile representative. It does not constitute an application or approval. You should review the provider’s terms and privacy policy before submitting personal or financial information to that provider.

7 Repairs Warranty and After Sales Support

Repair availability, estimated cost and completion time depend on the phone model, condition, diagnosis and availability of parts. Any preliminary information provided through the website or an enquiry channel is subject to physical assessment.

Warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s, distributor’s or applicable warranty provider’s terms. Halo Mobile may assist with the claim process but does not guarantee approval, replacement, repair time or outcome. Issues outside warranty coverage may be subject to inspection and repair charges.

8 Membership

Halo Mobile membership is intended for individual customers and is not transferable unless expressly permitted. Benefits, points, promotions and redemption conditions may be changed, suspended or withdrawn subject to the applicable membership terms.

Unless otherwise stated, points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Halo Mobile may suspend or close accounts involving suspected fraud, misuse, duplicate registration or breach of these Terms.

9 Third Party Services and Links

The website may link or redirect you to third-party services, including WhatsApp, map services, payment or financing providers, manufacturers and social media platforms. These services are operated independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Halo Mobile does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, applications, content, approval decisions, availability or security. Your use of a third-party service is at your own discretion and risk.

10 Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, layouts and software, is owned by or licensed to Halo Mobile and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use the content for personal reference only.

You may not reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works from the website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Halo Mobile and its directors, employees, affiliates, agents and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or any third-party service linked from it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Halo Mobile, its affiliates, officers, employees and service providers against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the website, breach of these Terms or infringement of another person’s rights.

16 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

17 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or connected with the website or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

18 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by publishing the revised version on the website. The updated Terms take effect when posted unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
